After the initial visit, a firm quote will be provided. Once the quote is accepted, we conduct a survey visit on the room(s) that will have flooring installed. The sub-floors will be checked for undulations and moisture. The relevant humidity in the room will be checked to make sure it is in the correct percentage. The timber flooring will be checked to make sure it has the correct moisture content.
The flooring will be delivered to site only when the conditions are correct. If other work is being carried out then all wet trades must have left site and the site must be clean and dry. When all the conditions are correct the flooring must be stored correctly allowing the timber to acclimatise before installation.
We install many types of hardwood floors and they fall into three broad categories. The first is solid hardwood and softwood planks; the second is engineered board planks and the third is a more specialist floor – parquet flooring. There is a full description of these options on our Products page.

We offer a professional sanding service using state-of-the-art sanding machinery.
After sanding, an excellent finish can be achieved using one of the many different
types of finishes that are now available. Please

We also supply and fit new skirting in matching hardwood or softwood.
Please note that we do not install laminate flooring.
