A very integral and specialised part of our work, it takes years to master the art of floor sanding professionally.

There are many different types of woods and wood floor patterns which all have to be sanded in different ways.

Our German sanding machinery is state of the art and the very latest in sanding technology. All of our sanding machines will extract 82% of wood dust at source ensuring that you and your family or your employees and clients can carry on living and working in a clean environment.

We do not hire any sanding machinery as such machines do not achieve the professional finish that we provide. Inadequate machines can damage a floor and the work cannot always be rectified. Therefore, we always recommend that you seek references.

Sealing

Each customer will want a particular finish for a particular reason, and this can be discussed during our initial visit.

Floors can be stained to various shades if you are trying to match furniture or you just want the light wood to have a warmer feel.

There are many methods of sealing floors although generally we are talking about hardwax oil, lacquers, waxes and oils.

Each product has advantages and disadvantages and our discussion will include your lifestyle, the type of use your floor will receive and any maintenance preferences you have.

All our sealing products are completely free of any solvents and can be safely used in the presence of children and animals.
