Walking with the Grain Ltd., is led by Jimmy Dunne, an apprenticed-served tradesman with over 28 years in the timber industry.

We attend all the workshops and seminars in connection to hardwood floor installation allowing us to stay current with the very latest in floor technology and information. This is a trade that sees many changes on a regular basis - changes that cannot be ignored to stay competitive and to continue to provide a high quality service. We make a point of attending floor shows in the UK, Ireland and Germany annually allowing us to see the latest in wood products, adhesives, sealants, floor lacquers and the very latest in installation tools.

This is all to the advantage of our customers and ensures our first class service. It also enables us to stay in touch with colleagues and flooring companies - companies that have been in the industry for many years.

We endeavour to use wood and deal with companies that have the FSC stamp. This stands for Forestry Stewardship Council. This is an independent membership-based organisation promoting responsible management of the world's forests through developing standards and a certification system.

With so many years in the flooring industry and having fitted many unusual patterns with inlaid borders, etc., Jimmy is considered a master hardwood floor fitter. You, the customer, can be assured of a very professional service with an eye for detail; a friendly and honest service from the first point of contact through discussion of your requirements, the installation and to the last finishing touches of your project.
